About Us

Our accountancy practice was formed in June 2015 by, father and daughter, Tom and Polly Geraghty. Since then we have created a team of fully and part-qualified, experienced accountants who are all dedicated to ensuring that client needs are met to the highest of standards. We also take on apprentices, helping to bring young people into the accounting profession.

We were nominated for a Newark Business Award in 2019 and were highly commended for Employer of the Year 2019.

Our approach

At Tom Geraghty and Associates we don't just give you a standard accountancy service; we strive to provide all clients with bespoke services, tailored specifically to every client's individual needs. By providing this, we can get to know your business and therefore, help and advise you on what you can be doing to get as much benefit as possible from it. Our main focus is our clients and what they need to help keep their businesses up, running and as profitable as possible!

Our Values

Creating and maintaining long-standing, client relationships is very important to us as we believe you should get to know your accountants for a more personal and bespoke service! We also pride ourselves on our ethical practices and ensure all work performed by us is always carried out with professional competence and care.

Tailored Services

At Tom Geraghty and Associates, we are proud to say that our services are adaptable to meet your requirements. One of our main functions, and increasingly so, is cloud-based bookkeeping for clients. We can offer a full bookkeeping service or, if you would like, we can just take on specific jobs regarding your bookkeeping such as invoicing or bank reconciliations. The services we provide to you are totally customisable so you can get exactly what you want from working with us. Bookkeeping is just one of the ways we strive to provide a service that is specifically tailored to each individual business. We can also take on individual tasks such as payroll, personal tax, sole trader, partnership or limited company accounts, etc. So, if you want to segregate your company's functions that's totally fine with us!
